Python Python Basics (2015) Python Data Types list.remove()

I'm typing in the last item and it asks me if I used the .remove function

I'm typing in the last item which is displayed as a int(5) so I'm typing in .remove(5). What am I supposed to do in order to get a correct answer?

lists.py
states = [
    'ACTIVE',
    ['red', 'green', 'blue'],
    'CANCELLED',
    'FINISHED',
    5,
].remove(5)

You can't call .remove on the list as it's being assigned. You need to call it below the declaration of the list like this:

states = [
    'ACTIVE',
    ['red', 'green', 'blue'],
    'CANCELLED',
    'FINISHED',
    5,
]

states.remove(5)

It's funny! Every time I get stuck on something I try again, before I post a question. And as if it were magic, as soon as I post the question I come up with the answer. All that was needed was time to clear my head and approach the problem again! Thanks for the response!!
