CSS CSS Grid Layout Flexible Sized Grids Auto-generate Flexible Columns

I'm typing in the repeat shortcut for this step however it doesn't recognise it when I try and recheck my work.

Is this a glitch, if not where am I going wrong?

.grid {
  display: grid;
  grid-template-columns: repeat(auto-fill, minmax (300px, 1fr));
}

Hi there! No, it's not a glitch. First, it's looking for the auto-fit property. Secondly, you have an extraneous space between minmax and the open parenthesis which is causing an error. When I fix those two things, your code passes the challenge! :sparkles:

Thanks Jen, resolved the issue now :)
