Image numbers-01.jpg is not showing

I have read all questions about this problem and I still can't make it work. Can someone take a look please?

      <ul>
        <li>
          <img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt="">
          <p>Experimentation with color and texture.</p>

      </ul>

It was not the challenge, it was the workspace. I added a personal picture to the img folder (I was planning to change one img to it) and then all the sudden it works! :) Go figure!!

Thank you all!

I just did the challenge. You don't need the p inside the li element. It should be like this. The challenge is only asking you to add three li inside the section tag follow by the img.

 <section>
      <ul>
        <li><img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt=""></li>
         <li><img src="img/numbers-02.jpg" alt=""></li>
         <li><img src="img/numbers-06.jpg" alt=""></li>
    </ul>
    </section>

I don't see any error in your code. Try clearing your browser history and doing the challenge again.

Here is my whole code, the images still don't work.

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">
    <title>Allie Daudt | Web Developer</title>
  </head>
  <body>
    <header>
      <a href="index.html">
        <h1>Allie Daudt</h1>
        <h2>Web Developer</h2>
      </a>
      <nav>
        <ul>
          <li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li>
          <li><a href="about.html">About</a></li>
          <li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li>
        </ul>
      </nav>
    </header>
    <section>
      <ul>
        <li><img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt=""></li>
        <li><img src="img/numbers-02.jpg" alt=""></li>
        <li><img src="img/numbers-06.jpg" alt=""></li>
      </ul>
    </section>
    <footer>

    </footer>
  </body>

is the image placed inside of the img directory? or is it ont the outside with your index.html file. If its not inside of your img folder add it there, or remove the "/img"

that's the fix. you have to make sure the images are inside the img folder.
