I think you mean "attribute".

The title attribute can be seen in use on this tag:

        <img src="avatar.png" title="avatar" alt="">

You were pretty close, except for two problems:

  • you wrote alt for the attribute instead of title in your selector
  • you have a space between img and the bracket for the attribute (making it a descendant selector)

img title attribute works when the user hovers over the image and the text you specified in the title appears.
