In context to the hangman game, what actually are its behaviour and states ?

We want to separate the prompting and game rules from its state and behaviour. What are its state and behaviour. Is game class resembles backend and prompter class- front end ???

It is like with html and css - separating the structure from the formatting. In this case the game logic remains the same regardless of the visual appearance of the game or the type of device on which it was designed to run.
