In my Android Studio project have an action bar, how remove this action bar?

check your MainActivity java file and make sure it extends the "Activity" class and not the "ActionBarActivity". Make sure you use "import android.app.Activity". Then you should be able to go along with the video and change the theme to anything like 'android:Theme.Holo.Light.NoActionBar'

in Styles change the them to below them

I went to styles.xml and changed

parent="Theme.AppCompat.Light.DarkActionBar"

to

parent="Theme.AppCompat.Light.NoActionBar"

and that removed it from all my activities.
