Python Flask Basics Welcome to Flask Request args

In the intro to flask course I am stuck at the following exercise. I receive a "Bummer: '/' gave a non-200 respd" error

Can someone help me figure out what I am doing wrong? I am quite sure my code is correct..

flask_app.py
from flask import Flask
from flask import request

app = Flask(__name__)

@app.route('/')
def index():
    request.args.get('name', "test")
    return "Hello {}".format(name)

I managed to get it to work after looking at the questions asked by other people about this challenge. However I think the challenge really isn't clearly enough phrased. It doesn't state, that the default return, if no other is provided should be "Hello Treehouse"...
