in the last code challenge, why don't we need to give the description a parameter when we use the init method?

struct RGBColor { let red: Double let green: Double let blue: Double let alpha: Double

let description: String

init(red: Double, green: Double, blue: Double, alpha: Double, description: String){
self.red = red
self.green = green
self.blue = blue
self.alpha = alpha

self.description = "red: \(red), green: \(green), blue: \(blue), alpha: \(alpha)"
}

}

You are giving it a parameter on this line

self.description = "red: \(red), green: \(green), blue: \(blue), alpha: \(alpha)"

sorry i meant the above was rejected because i put in description: String within the init parameters ( inside init() ). however, when i omit it, it was accepted. why is it so?

Ahhh sorry that makes sense. It's because you don't want to call description as a parameter for that struct, description is going to be made up of the parameters you accept. So you could change the parameters red, green, blue and alpha, but you wouldn't change description as it is made up of those parameters. Like me know if that makes more sense :)
