In which section do I need to place the ul, h1, and p elements? Do I need to include a text inside of those?

Now I am placing them in the Head section, but I am not sure if this is really the way to go.

index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <link href="styles.css" rel="stylesheet">
    <title>My Portfolio</title>
    <ul>
      <li> test</li>
    </ul>

    <h1> goed? </h1>
      <p>
        test
      </p>
  </head>
  <body>
    <ul>
      <li><a href="#">About</a></li>
      <li><a href="#">Work</a></li>
      <li><a href="#">Contact</a></li>
    </ul>
    <h1>My Web Design &amp; Development Portfolio!</h1>
    <p>A site featuring my latest work.</p>

    <h2>Welcome</h2>
    <p>Fusce semper id ipsum sed scelerisque. Etiam nec elementum massa. Pellentesque tristique ex ac ipsum hendrerit, eget feugiat ante faucibus.</p>
    <ul>
      <li><a href="#">Recent project #1</a></li>
      <li><a href="#">Recent project #2</a></li>
      <li><a href="#">Recent project #3</a></li>
    </ul>

    <p>&copy; 2017 My Portfolio</p>
    <p>Follow me on <a href="#">Twitter</a>, <a href="#">Instagram</a> and <a href="#">Dribbble</a></p>
  </body>
</html>

Here's a few hints:

  • page content only goes in the "body", never in the "head" element
  • the only new content you will make for this challenge will be container elements
  • the ul, h1, and p the instructions talk about are already there
  • your task is to just put the appropriate container around them
  • I just posted a "semantic element summary" that might be useful in answering another question
