index of String in Array

do you know how to search an NSArray for a string:

example:

self.countryArray = [NSArray arrayWithObjects:@"Algeria", @"Argentina", @"Australia", nil];

How would you spit out the index of the location of the string "Argentina" in the array?

Thanks!

You can use the indexOfObject: method of the NSArray:

NSUInteger index = [self.countryArray indexOfObject:@"Argentina"];
