Initializers may only be described within a type error

Am getting this error message for my initializer, and can't understand what is says. Why am I getting this error message?

struct.swift
struct Expense {
    var description: String
    var amount: Double = 0.0
}

init(description: String) {
  self.description = description
}

You have you init() method outside your struct, enclose it with the {} from the struct like this :

struct Expense {
    var description: String
    var amount: Double = 0.0

     init(description: String) {
        self.description = description
     }
}
