Why? I've seen a few websites that have two containers, one inside the other. What for?

20,306 PointsThere can be many reasons. Sometimes, when building a website as part of a CSS framework, like twitter bootstrap, you have to follow specific guidelines in order for your site not to break. Other reasons may be design (outer container can include a background color or image), padding between the two, and other considerations.

6,595 PointsI learned this last night. They both have purposes? One can hold the content, the other can hold background images? I guess I didn't get back to basics. They're called containers, because they CONTAIN elements.
