Intel x86 HAXM Installer "Not Compatible with Windows"
I'm using the Device Nexus 5 API 23 when trying to build the project.
However when I attempt to run the project I get the following message and console output.
Please ensure Intel HAXM is properly installed and usable. CPU acceleration status: HAX kernel module is not installed!
So the emulator won't load. When I then look at the Android SDK Manager for HAXM, the status is "not compatible with Windows". It seems others have had similar issues in the past.
Can anything be done to help? Can I carry on with the track without it if needs be? Thanks :)

Download from the source and install manually: https://software.intel.com/en-us/android/articles/intel-hardware-accelerated-execution-manager
There are bug reports filed on the SDK Manager about this and will hopefully be fixed soon.
