Interested in helping me QA the upcoming Unit Testing in Java Course?

Howdy everyone!

It's that time again, I have a new course that is just about ready for prime time, but I'd love to have some of your eyes on it before it goes completely live. This course is Unit Testing in Java and it is going to deal with how to write tests in Java. You'll need to have IntelliJ IDEA already so the Local Development Environments course is a pre-requisite. The course is a lot of fun and introduces you to a bunch of new best practices. There's even a larger than life Texan in it.

If you are interested in lending a hand, simply add an answer to this Community Post. I will send out further instructions when the QA period starts.

QA is pretty straightforward, you watch just like you would regularly and you point out places where I might've made mistakes, or things could be clearer for you and your fellow classmates. We will use email to communicate as not to confuse the forum with a yet to be released course.

If all goes well, I plan to release this next week on Wednesday.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Ha good point, sorry I forgot to clarify that. Thanks Chris! Hoping for EOD Friday. Thanks for hanging on, and don't kill yourself to get through it all. Sorry again for the delay and as always, I appreciate your thoughts and opinions.

It was on my TODO list for today, but looks like the Q&A session is already closed.

I'm very interested in dishing up some QA. By "next" Wednesday, you hopefully don't mean tomorrow....

Slight delay here, sorry 'bout that....probably kicking this QA session off on Monday. Lots of great animation in this course that is slowing things down. I'll keep you posted!

No Rush, your courses are always well presented and it's the season to be jolly

Thanks for the heads up!

Here is me sending an answer! Can't wait to checkout some awesome sauce Java Unit Testing :)

P.S. I already have used Java multiple times in my life thus the reason why I have not gone over your entire track and some of the course work. I also have used IntelliJ for Java and Android development. I will however go ahead and take the prerequisite course real quick just to see if I can learn some more of your tips and tricks!

Edit: After getting to the end of the first course I cannot pass the challenge due to my operating system. (Probably would have the same issue on my BSD system) I am able to compile java code but my java -version output wont pass the challenge.

If there is still room in the QA club, I'd be happy to assist.

Can I get in on this? I'd like to get in on this.

I'll gladly give you my 2 cents..I usually do anyway! ;)
