Hi Bala,

The thing that's going wrong here is that you need to put the first part of the string (Hi there) in between quotes and also your first string (let name) should be in between quotes so you get something like this:

let name = "Bala Selvam"
let greeting = "Hi there /(name)"

This way you create the string name containing "Bala Selvam" and than create the string greeting containing "Hi there" and add the string name to it.

Hope this helped,

Jari
