Invalid syntax error

The Treehouse system states that I have an invalid syntax error on line 7. I do not know what the problem is.

membership.py
time = 15
store_open = None
store_hours = [9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18]
if time in store_open
    store_open=True
else 
    store_open =False

Hi there! From what I can tell, you currently have three problems:

  • An if statement ends with a colon :
  • An else statement ends with a colon :
  • You are checking to see if the time is in store_open, but you should be checking to see if it's in store_hours

I think you can get it with these hints, but let me know if you're still stuck! :sparkles:
