IOS Events, Actions (topic request)

I was wondering maybe they should think about doing a small course in ios dev for a couple more things.

  1. Adding sound when someone presses a button, or touches the screen.
  2. Adding background images (its already been done in crystal ball but i'm putting what is think are the basics in one).
  3. Frames per second.
  4. Frame slides going from one page of the app to another with a button pressed of finger slides
  5. Finger slide, up, down, left, right.
  6. Touch events for characters in a game, you don't have to create a game just the basics of touching the screen and moving the character left and right.

Here are answers to some of your requests:

  1. Octave is a great drop-in library that allows you to add sound to buttons
  2. Like you mentioned this is already covered in the Crystal Ball project. Is there anything specific that you would like to know?
  3. I'm assuming you are talking about image based animation which is covered in the Crystal Ball project
  4. I'm not sure I understand
  5. We will keep this in mind and cover Gesture controls in a future project
  6. Very specific to game development and we have no plans on covering it anytime soon.

things i would like to see are:

1.button touch sound. 2.screen touch sound. 3.real world app program (meaning real world objects like a space ship (moving, shooting) it doesnt have to be a game.

and what i meant by frame slides is where you press a button of an app and it goes to another page of the app like - pressing of the option button will take you to the option page - thats what i mean full interactive app, also uploads of videos like in face book.

maybe for an example app you could do a library that contains song and videos and also you can store them on a database, that in itself can be what you call a "Learning Adventure" that would be a great feature.

You should take that idea to the positions of power.

The good news is that the next iPhone project will have some of these features which will be released in its entirety in a few months.
