IOS techdegree project #1

I've finished my code in playgrounds on xcode and everything is running perfectly. However, I am still confused even after reading the instructions on how to share it with github. I've looked at other repos that other people have submitted and it seems like they have started an xcode project, but I only have my full code in playgrounds. Can i just upload the playgrounds file on github for marking?

I have zero programming experience prior to this and just started with IOS programming. Do I create a new xcode project and copy and paste my code into the ViewController file?

This seems like it would be better as a question for your techdegree slack channel.

I submitted mine as a Playground and passed with an exceeds rating. I saved my Playgrounds file then (if I recall correctly) dragged the playgrounds file into the github web uploader.
