Is aside specifically for a push menu?

Or does it only mean it's a secondary menu with less importance?

Hey there,

<aside> is used for content that is not necessarily relevant for the rest of the website (the main content would make sense without it).

So that can be an extra menu but it can also be explanatory text that is not necessary but informative.

Makes sense?
