8,312 PointsIs it worth doing the Ribbit app course?
or is it going to be nothing but frustration and head pain. Eclipse I guess is a thing of the past now and I would like to learn this course but... I hope they update it.....

As mentioned in the video note on IDEs, most(I believe there are one or two spots that things need changed due to API changes in later Android SDKs) of the code and concepts should be transferrable. There are a lot of topics that are very valuable that are gone through in this course that I would recommend going through it. Here is a resource on importing Eclipse projects into Android Studio, I'd recommend just downloading the project and then directly importing it into Android Studio(though I have not tried this). If you have any trouble with this, let me know and I will see what if I can help.
