My advice is try to hand code everything when you are first learning. That way it can be engraved on your brain.

Once you got the hand of it but most of all you understand why things do what they do you can definitely use Emmet. It's a tool that can improve your productivity.

Thank you for this question Daniel, I was wondering this my self.

well no one can help us... its frustrating when you never get an answer from the staff. i have like 4 or 5 questions on the forum and never i get answer from the staff. :(

They answer Most times. I think that allot of the time they are extremely busy working on all the new courses!

Samuel Lopez's advice is very good. I would really practice HTML a lot before turning to Emmet. Emmet is convenient but it is in no way an industry standard -- for example you won't see a job description ever say "Emmet knowledge required."

Thanks a lot for your answer! i

Hi Daniel Muvdi,

I've yet to give Emmet a try. But, I do agree 100% with Samuel and Dave on learning HTML/CSS syntax and hand code first before relying on Emmet –– or any plugin, library or preprocessor. :)

thank you very much for your answer! i
