7,894 PointsIs the Angular Basics course useful for learning Angular 4?
Since this course teaches Angular 2, I'm wondering if it is still useful for learning Angular 4. Are Angular 2 and 4 similar enough?

96 PointsAngular 4 is essentially an updated version of Angular 2, so this course will help. The simple way to view it is that the term AngularJS means Angular 1 & Angular refers to Angular 2+.

13,633 PointsTypescript is not super important to learn but it is a (good to have) especially if you're learning Angular 2 or older version since it is developed in typescript from the ground up.
