Is the GIT repository installed on my workspace? It's not showing up when i "ls -a" while in the "medals" folder.

When I run "git status", I keep getting "Fetal: not a git repository"

The tutorial addressed this concern in the beginning of the video, but I have confirmed that I am in the correct folder location, "Medals", when running the command.

Great job for being on the right directory! now start by running git init then git status
hope this will fix your error!
