I'm wondering if I do need both of these for this question or if the way I did it was wrong

11,935 PointsHi Dallas, you only need the first line (<script src="shout.js"></script>
) in the HTML file. All of your JavaScript code (alert("I DID IT!");
) could then be placed into shout.js
. Essentially, the <script src="shout.js"></script>
element is just saying, "run the JavaScript in the file shout.js
"
