Is there a project to apply the knowledge I learned from the JavaSCript course here at Treehouse?

What is the next step you do recommend after finishing the javascript course? I want to make my website more interactive.

For your first project I'd suggest you try to make a memory game:

Making your website interactive, check out the jQuery course.

With jQuery I've made a few practice projects

  • Accordion Widget
  • Todo list
  • Text Area with Character Count
  • Simple Calendar Widget

I would reccomend looking around the web for a fun feature and then trying to impliment it on your website. It could be as simple as googling "cool javascript websites". Try to achieve their result without looking at their code. It might be difficult and buggy but you will learn a lot and be able to "field test" your knowledge.

Thanks James,

I'm going to try the memory game when I'm done with my current track.

I think I posted a question on this thread about Code School's Javascript lessons. I can't see it anymore, has it been moderated? Is there some guidelines on talking on forum? Things we can and cannot say?

You are welcome to post resources from other sites. I've posted links to Code School JavaScript courses on the forum myself as they are some of the best around.

Ok, sorry about my attitude.

Maybe I just wrote the question but failed to post it.
