12,674 PointsIs there a way to determine the default value of a property in css in the browser?
For example, when flex-grow is omitted from the shorthand declaration "flex" , it is set to 1. 1 is not the initial value of the flex-grow property. But then, how will I know flex grow was set to 1 if I am not aware of the rule when using the shorthand flex?

2,787 Pointsif you open dev-tools from the browser (on Mac, command + option + i, or I think on Windows it's control + shift + i) and use the element inspector to select html elements, you should be able to see every CSS property that's set on the element in the styles panel.
is that what you're looking for?
