JavaScript

is this syntax is correct ?

function getRandomNumber( lower, upper ) { return Math.floor(Math.random() * upper) + lower; }

console.log( getRandomNumber( 15, 200 ) );

1 Answer

It is just missing the arrow and semicolon outside the closing parenthesis. So it should read, function getRandomNumber( lower, upper ) => { return Math.floor(Math.random() * upper) + lower };

Also with arrow functions it will automatically return 1 lined functions, and 1 lined functions don't need curly braces, so you could refactor to, function getRandomNumber( lower, upper ) => Math.floor(Math.random() * upper) + lower;

Hope this helps and happy coding!
