Hi Kim,

Everything looks good except you forgot to close the <textarea> and <button> tags. HTML tags can be closed by a slash symbol just in front of the second tag name. Example:

<tagname></tagname>

Every tags in HTML should be closed except few tags which are known as self closing tags like

<img />

I hope it helped.

Happy learning

I tried that, it wouldn't get past the textarea question until I did it like that. it's not accepting the button one at all. but i'll try again. thank you

they're closed rasbin. it's not working? The textarea works but it won't accept the button at all. but it is highlighted as red as if there is a problem with the closing tags it has to have? I don't understand

Hi

The red highlighting indicates a problem. The closing tag is correct, but the opening tag is missing something. Opening tags needs to be formatted as Rabin showed you. So textarea should be:

<textarea id="comment" name="user_comment"> </textarea>

And if you do the same with your button you should pass the test.
