HTML How to Make a Website Creating HTML Content Create Navigation with Lists

it is saying to add Contact when I have it included in my list. I am not sure what I have done wrong

I am not sure what I am doing wrong here, can someone help. It looks correct but keeps saying it is wrong

Hi Diane,

You almost have it, you're just missing a couple of closing tags:

       <ul>
          <li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a><li> // <---- change <li> to </li>
          <li><a href="about.html">About</a><li> // <---- change <li> to </li>
          <li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a>|</li> // <---- delete that stray pipe  "|" character!
