It won't work for me.

I think I did it all right, my step-brother said I did.

Hi there,

Nope, sorry, but your step-brother is incorrect.

First, there can be no HTML for the site inside of the <head> tags. This area is used only for information and sources that will not be rendered to the page but are used by the site (eg. Stylesheet links, JavaScript links, titles, etc).

Second, the challenge does not say anything about adding any HTML. Remember, challenges are very specific and need to be followed exactly or the task will fail. Never add anything not asked for or deleted anything not told to...

The first task wants you to wrap the stated lines of HTML inside an HTML tag used for introductory code. So only this HTML should go inside. Right now you have no HTML tags wrapping these expected lines.

<ul>
    <li><a href="#">About</a></li>
    <li><a href="#">Work</a></li>
    <li><a href="#">Contact</a></li>
</ul>
<h1>My Web Design &amp; Development Portfolio!</h1>
<p>A site featuring my latest work.</p>

If you need, have a quick review of the last video to see which tag should be used.

Keep Coding! :) :dizzy:
