iOS Swift Basics (retired) Operators Binary Operators

Its asking me for an annotation and I don't what its trying t tell me or what it means.

Need help in finishing the coding for binary operators. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Ricardo,

  • Looks like you have some semicolons in there.
  • You'll want to name your constant 'areaInFeet'--that 'Double' part isn't necessary for this exercise.
  • You'll want to do the height and width calculations in one expression and store it in areaInFeet, which is how mathematically you'd want to get the area in feet.

Example Code:

// the height and width of a wall
let height = 120.0 // in inches
let width = 144.0 // in inches
let areaInFeet = (height / 12) * (width / 12) // in feet
