Treehouse TeacherHi there! The problem here is that you're trying to convert the result of calling the printf method and assign it to a String. But the return type of printf is the Console so it's seeing it as void and cannot make the conversion.
You simply need to do the printf without any assignment to a variable. Take a look:
console.printf("%s really %s this coding exercise " , name , pastTenseVerb );
This line prints your string to the console and uses formatting to insert the values of the variables into the placeholders.
