I've been struggling with this one for a while could someone write out the whole code and help explain it please.

For each of the files whose name contained "fun", convert the contents of the file to lowercase and display the lowercase version after each H3 title.

index.php
<?php
//add code here
$dir = 'example';
$files = scandir($dir);
foreach ($files as $file) {
  if (strpos($file, 'fun') !== false) {
    echo '<h3>' (file_get_contents($dir . '/'. $file)) '</h3>';
  }
}
?>

<?php

$dir = "example";
$files = scandir($dir);

foreach ($files as $file) {
  if ( strpos($file, "fun") !== false ) {
    $contents = file_get_contents($dir . "/" . $file);
    echo "<h3>" . $file . "</h3>";
    echo strtolower($contents);
  }
}
?>

Read the challenge a little more carefully. It says to display the contents after the h3 heading and also to display it in lowercase. You're really close, though. Great job, everything is correct, just one line is out of place.

You should except that persons answer as the best answer even though it is the only one. I was having the same issue.

Attention to detail is a must.
