I've reviewed the videos several times, & read up on the issue and can't solve this problem. I need your help please.

Your help is appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

John

functions.swift
// Enter your code below
// Enter your code below
func temperatureInFahrenheit(temperature: Double) -> Double  {

    let temperature = temperature * 9 / 5 + 32

    return temperature

}

temperatureInFahrenheit(temperature: 24.0)

let fahrenheitTemp = temperature

Hi John,

You want to create a constant, as you have done, called fahrenheitTemp. Into that, i.e. to the right of an equals sign, use the call to the func that you've also written.

So, you assign the returned double that comes back from temperatureInFahrenheit into fahrenheitTemp:

let fahrenheitTemp = temperatureInFahrenheit(temperature: 24.0)

I hope that makes sense.

Steve.

Thank you very much Steve! Problem solved with your help.

Have a great day!!

John
