What am I doing wrong?

Main.java
public class Main {
    public static void main(String[] args) {
        GoKart kart = new GoKart("yellow");
        if (kart.isBatteryEmpty()) {
          System.out.println("The battery is empty");
        }
        kart.drive(2);
      try {
      System.out.println("");
      } catch (IllegalArgumentException iae) {
  System.out.printf("WARNING! %s\n", iae.getMessage()); }
  }
}

Since the "drive" method in the GoKart class throws an exception, you have to surround it with try and catch, or have the method body throw that same exception.

It looks like you almost got it right, but you have to have the reference to the "drive" method inside the try block. Like this:

try {
  kart.drive(2);
  System.out.println("");
} catch (IllegalArgumentException iae) {
  System.out.printf("WARNING! %s%n", iae.getMessage());
}

ok thanks :)

The error you should be checking for is

kart.drive(2)

It should be inside your try block.
