Add an if statement to see if there are less than 4 people. Then write out to the console, “Your table is ready”

Hi there,

Whilst the challenge question's grammar is a challenge in itself (fewer than 4 people, not 'less'!) you're asked to create an integer called numberOfPeople and set its value to 3.

Then, you write a test to see if numberOfPeople is less than 4 and output the string requuested. That can look like:

int numberOfPeople = 3;
if(numberOfPeople < 4){
  console.printf("Your table is ready");
}

The if statement takes a conditional comparison inside brackets, in this case we use the less than sign to see if numberOfPeople is less than 4. If it is, and it is, the next lines inside the curly braces are run.

I hope that makes sense!

Steve.

No problem - glad you got it fixed!
