JavaScript

JQuery has a great site for looking up Attributes etc. Is there a place or site to look up the meanings such as getElement, this, moveTo or whatever in JavaScript? Seems like you still need to know JavaScript even in JQuery. I know JQuery is also JavaScript..

Yes, knowing jQuery doesn't take away your need to know and understand JavaScript.

I generally like the documentation at MDN from Mozilla.

Use devdocs.io to ...

More seriously though, devdocs is a better front end for lots of API documentation including MDN.
