JavaScript examples.

Hi. I really enjoyed watching Andrew's tutorials on JavaScript. I got the fundamental ideas but the whole application he demonstrates is way over my head.

I have watched it nearly 4 times now and find it's too complicated. At this stage of my learning, do I concentrate on understanding this application's code or just move on, watch the rest of the tutorials in the track and hope it all "clicks" at some point. Thanks, Rod.

I just took a look at the code and it looks relatively straight forward. So I'd say you should attempt to annotate what each line of the code does and if you don't know what something does post here and ask about it.

As long as you understand the specific aspects being demonstrated in each lesson you're probably OK.

Ultimately the best and only way to truly learn and remember is to go and try and work on something for yourself. Then as you come up against stuff you don't know or can't remember (there'll be a lot) you can either look those things up online, or perhaps come back and rewatch some Treehouse lesson on that area.
