JavaScript Foundations and AngularJS

Hi, I just registered to this website. I'm on the Front End Dev Track and I completed the "How To Make a Website" and "CSS Basics" steps; I also did the "Console Foundations" course and started "Git Basics" because that's something I needed for a side project.

I'm now onto the "JavaScript Basics" course; right after this track, I was planning to do the "Node.js Basics" course and the "AngularJS" course. I understand that some courses and tracks are undergoing revisions ("JavaScript Foundations" is being substituted with "JavaScript Basics" + "JavaScript Loops, Arrays and Objects", and the "Front End Dev" and "Web Design" tracks are being updated accordingly); the AngularJS course seems to list the new prerequisites already; however, Node.js Basics still lists "JavaScript Foundations" among its prerequisites. What are the upcoming changes? Are the prerequisites simply outdated and going to be changed, or is the "Node.js Basics" course itself old, and it's going to be updated in some way?

Also, I noticed there's an "Introduction to Programming" course, which used to be a prerequisite for JavaScript Foundations; is that course still relevant? Should I do it? Is it going to be kept, or is it going to be decommissioned?

Thanks.

The Node Basic course is pretty new and being that you just did Console and Git course you'd be right at home. The "JavaScript Foundations" is being substituted with "JavaScript Basics" and "JavaScript Loops, Arrays and Objects" because before you got a bird's eye view and I think they're trying to narrow it down into modules to help students understand the concepts better.
