JavaScript Foundations vs Introduction to Programming

Hello you all. I have just one question, what is the difference? Which is the more basic or where do I have to start?

Thanks.

Hi Marcelo,

As James has said, if you have no experience in programming, then ideally you should do both. Start with Introduction to Programming, as that will give you a solid grasp of the concepts and ideas, and generalizes the common aspects of programming as a whole, whereas JavaScript Foundations, will, as the name suggests, center on the JavaScript language specifically.

Obviously, whether you choose to complete 'Introduction to...' or dive straight into JavaScript is entirely up to you, but if you hope to learn more languages, or just have an easier grasp of overall concepts, then 'Introduction to...' is where to start.

Hope this info helps you

If you're new to programming I would start with Introduction to programming. While you'll be using javascript for both courses, introduction to programming covers more general concepts that apply to a lot of languages, whereas javascript foundations is more javascript-specific.

Hope this helps!
