JavaScript Parameters

Mr. McFarland says "you can pass any number of arguments you want to a function" ( https://teamtreehouse.com/library/giving-information-to-functions ) but MDN says otherwise it says "The name of an argument to be passed to the function. Maximum number of arguments varies in different engines." ( https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/JavaScript/Reference/Statements/function )

MDN is always correct right?

I'm sure there is a limit that no one will ever practically reach. Functions ease programming by performing a specific task that is useful. Having an extraordinary number of parameters defeats the purpose.
