JavaScript Unit Testing

I would really love if you guys would do create a course covering the basics of js unit testing. Currently, it is extremely difficult to find "simple" tutorials on the subject online.

Unit testing seems weird and hard for the uninitiated (or me at least). I'd love to have Treehouse hold my hand through getting up to speed.

Hi Adrian Gordon

Great suggestion! We don't currently have a class on that in our roadmap, but we've talked about it. I'll bring it up again with the team.

Thank you. I am sure that many of your users will find it extremely useful.

+1 I'd be all over that.

Hi all,

We ARE working on a JS Unit testing course, and aim to have it on the site around March 2016.

Awesome! Can't wait =)

Great suggestion! I'd like to renew my membership but want to see more advanced Javascript, node and unit testing courses first.

I just came checking to see if anyone's talked about this topic on the forums too. There seem so many different options, some for running browser based tests, different assertion libraries etc, and I'm not sure which direction to go with.

E.g. I want to simulate a form submission on my site. Can I just make HTTP requests and look at the resulting response? Probably. No need to do any headless browser testing, right?

YUSSSS!
