jQuery code challenge

Hello, can anyone help me with this code challenge. How do I insert the value into the fullName input ? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

js/app.js
//Show Prompt Window and store value
var fullName = prompt("What is your full name?");

//Select Input with the id of #fullName
$("#fullName").append(fullName);

//Insert value in to full name input
$(fullName).val("#fullName").text;
index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
</head>
<body>
<label for="fullName">Full Name</label><input id="fullName" name="fullName" value="" disabled>
<script src="//code.jquery.com/jquery-1.11.0.min.js" type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8"></script>
<script src="js/app.js" type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8"></script>
</body>
</html>

The first comment task is abit confusing but they just want you to get used to selecting ID's and Classes.

You can do it all in one line.

$('#fullName').attr("value", fullName);

the attr or attribute function selects an attribute of the tag you've selected, in this case, #fullName.

So you're selecting the value attribute with the "value" and then with most Jquery functions, the first parameter is a getter and the second is a setter.

so we GET the value and then we SET the value of "value" to fullName

Thanks for the help.
