14,500 PointsThe first comment task is abit confusing but they just want you to get used to selecting ID's and Classes.
You can do it all in one line.
$('#fullName').attr("value", fullName);
the attr or attribute function selects an attribute of the tag you've selected, in this case, #fullName.
So you're selecting the value attribute with the "value" and then with most Jquery functions, the first parameter is a getter and the second is a setter.
so we GET the value and then we SET the value of "value" to fullName
