JQuery (.show("slow")) not working right in Firefox!!

Hi, $(".warning").hide().show("slow"); is not working right in firefox. It would animate but then it skips the animation. Im not sure why but it works fine in Safari.

Any idea why?

Marcus Parsons provides a workaround/fix for the issue.

works in chrome for me
