Jquery/JavaScript Trouble

When it comes to building some sort of web app or any interactivity my mind tends to go kind of blank. I can break down the steps and get pretty close to what I had in mind but I'm finding this to be very difficult. Just wanting to hear about some of your guys process on tackling a project, do you memorize a lot of jQuery or do you look up the documentation? Thanks guys

I memorize the parts of jQuery that I use with some frequency (so, about 5% of its functionality, if that). I have the jQuery Docs in my bookmarks and I'm looking them up all the time. Reading docs is something everyone does; you're not alone. :)

Knowing answers is not as important as knowing where to find them.

Thank you Ryan exactly what I was looking for, glad to see I'm not alone!
