JS: Parsing Numbers

Why isn't my answer correct?

The instructions,

A variable named "boxWidth" already exists with a value of "640px". Create a new variable named "numWidth" and use the "parseInt" method to extract the numeric value from boxWidth's string value.

My answer,

 var numWidth = parseInt("640", 10);

The code

 <script>
      var boxWidth = "640px";
      var boxHeight = "480px";
</script>

Hi Carla,

You are supposed to extract 640 from boxWidth. So in your answer replace 640 with boxWidth without the parenthesis.

Hi Carla:

I believe the challenge wants you to use the variable boxWidth in the parseInt function. Swap boxWidth in for the 640 and it should work!
