Keyboards you are using for programming

What keyboard do you use for programming ? I am looking for a new keyboard and could use some tips :-)

I know that the tool does not make you a good programmer or something but it is always nice to know what other people use :-)

Do you mean the Text editor the teacher is using ?

if so he is using the a built-in work space to help you apply what you learn on Tree House. it is similar to sublime text which you can download and use on your PC. I hope I managed to answer your question. If I didn't understand your question well, please rephrase it and I will do my best to answer it.

I mean a hw keyboard lol :-)

It depends. If someone's laptop has a keyboard, they usually use no special keyboard apart from the one that comes with the laptop, but if you are using a PC, it is good to use one that is ergonomic and comfortable because coders spend a lot of hours typing, by no means get a keyboard that strains your hands. Also, it depends to your typing style. You can either get a split keyboard or a regular one (there are some other type of keyboards too but they are harder to use initially it takes time to get used to keyboards that are not like the ones we see everyday) but make sure it is comfortable and if you can, try it. Try typing on it and see how you feel when using it, that is one of the best ways to figure out if a keyboard is working for you.

My weapon of choice is Microsoft Natural Multimedia Keyboard from 2004 (almost 10 years passed, WOW!). here it is.

Love that keyboard. At first you think no way. But after a very short period you understand that this is how a keyboard should always be. In fact, after awhile you start thinking the keyboard should be a two-piecer with the keys on either side of your lap.

Jeff, exactly. I absolutely agree with you.

Using my builtin Sony vaio keyboard.
