public OnRefreshListener mOnRefreshListener = new OnRefreshListener() {

// Code that refreshes the content in the layout...

12,207 PointsYou want to define the mRefreshLayout variable and grab it's layout element immediately after naming the class.
public class MainActivity extends ListActivity {
public SwipeRefreshLayout mRefreshLayout = (SwipeRefreshLayout) findViewById(R.id.refreshLayout);
You will add the code for refreshing layout separately in the onRefresh method. Do not confuse the code that is used to grab the layout element for your mRefreshLayout variable with the code that actually does the refreshing.
