Lack of difference

Currently your web design and web development course are almost the same, You just have to go through one more title "Accessibility" after the web design course and you are web developer too! is that OK ? Do you really think that's the difference between a developer and designer ?

+1, but again in todays industry both are expected to achieve same tasks (in my experience) I guess a "Become UI/UX professional" type of course could be beneficial to cover a design aspect of this, this could contain lessons like photoshop, illustrator basics, design fundamentals, logo design etc..

I think the term you are looking for is Visual Design Professional as UX is not UI.

I know, but combining two together seems to be a good idea, to sort of expand the course.

We visualize the website by design it first. Do several design/concept (brainstorm, wireframe, design etc..) Then let the client choose it. And then we make the HTML/CSS. If this is not the right process, do you mean jump to code first and show it to the client is the right process? What do you say James?

Hi Amin Ahmed khan,

Thanks for pointing this out! You're right. I think the Development Track is correct, but I'm wondering why Design Foundations isn't a part of the Web Designer course. I'm tagging Guil Hernandez, as he's responsible for the Web Designer track.
