So I've been enjoying the html and css classes so far. I've began building a website but I want to work on a project that is something I would enjoy doing and would challenge me at the same time.
Like the title says I lack inspiration. Once I get started on something I'll get quickly burnt out because I don't really have an end goal of what I want it to be, but once I have a goal to work towards I can then sit down, focus, and get done what needs to be done, but I have a hard time getting to that point.
What did you do for some of your first projects to really make you passionate about coding and make information stick?
Also with an overwhelming variety of languages out there how did you discover which ones you like to work with best? I often think I might be leading myself down a "wrong path" if I dedicate too much time toward one language.
Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

That way you will have and end goal while you learn new things. You can also try to make your favorite website from scratch!

19,810 PointsIf you're having trouble sticking with something, pretend you work for a web development company and they've asked you to re-design the home page for a local charity. Pick a local charity you like and get to work. If you start to quit, imagine your boss firing you.
It may seem a little crazy, but give it a shot. The idea of losing your paycheck might keep you motivated.

33,833 PointsWhat do you want to do? (examples.. Web Developer, Graphic Artist, Software Engineer). Honestly the content is boring unless you really like programming in Java, or like photography. If you continue to learn from videos on Treehouse it will be more challenging. In my case, I plan to spend a year to learn the content. Then I plan to program and design some projects of my own. I'm trying to complete the career path goals.
